The Gathering is an unmissable event for people working in the third sector to network, showcase what they do and learn from each other.

Key themes for 2017 include Brexit and the third sector, digital participation and funding. Once again the event will kick off with a special address from the First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon MSP.

There’s a bustling exhibition and marketplace with more than 100 exhibitors, alongside a packed programme of events featuring more than 50 workshops, seminars and training sessions.

The Deaf Sector Partnership (DSP) in collaboration with contactSCOTLAND-BSL and Scottish Government will show you how to promote, raise awareness and improve engagement for BSL users in the third and public sector. We are working together to implement the British Sign Language (Scotland) Act 2015 and raise awareness of the needs of deaf people. We will cover how both third and public sector organisations can increase their engagement with Deaf / Deafblind BSL users in Scotland. contactSCOTLAND-BSL is the Scottish Government’s Video Relay Service, which public bodies and third sector organisations can use for free.
